The SnP Show Episode 25: UFC Strawweight Fighter Lisa Ellis

Fight Fans Syndee and Poetrynmotion had a show full of MMA news and debates from Rousey’s comments on fighter pay vs ring card girl pay, Cyborg, fight announcements and tons more on The SnP Show Saturday

Lisa Ellis (15-9) Ellis made her professional mixed martial arts debut on November 6, 2004 at HOOKnSHOOT – Evolution. She has fought in many promotions such as HOOKnSHOOT, Smackgirl, DEEP, Bellator Fighting Championships, Invicta FC and now the UFC.

Ellis is a 5X Fila Grappling World Champion, Women’s Wrestling All American and currently ranked in the top 10 at 105 pounds. She owns, teaches classes and personally trains at United Training Center in Olympia WA with her husband. They both have very extensive MMA experience.

Woman empowerment is BIG in Ellis’ book. “I love MMA and teaching people that they can do stuff they thought they never could. I believe in people….sometimes a little too much…but overall I think people, especially women, NEED to believe in themselves! Dream big and step out of your comfort zone and try something new!! Life is to short to not try something to challenge yourself. If you just start striving for your goals, before you know it everything will start falling into place. Lots of things will knock you down, but get up and KEEP trying!”
